BiographyArthur Brisbane was an American newspaper editor of the 20th century. He was also a real estate investor, writer, orator, and public relations professional. Brisbane began work as a newspaper reporter and editor in New York City in 1882, first at the Sun and the New York World. He was later hired by William Randolph Hearst to be an editor at various Hearst owned newspapers and published a syndicated editorial column.
