DescriptionThis Cochiti jar is made of coiled clay with a globular body and a short neck ending with a slightly outcurved rim. The body is decorated with a wide body band with alternating floral-based design. There is a red line at the base and diamond shaped elements painted on the neck. This jar was part of the Indigenous pottery items that were to be sold outside of the Alvardo Hotel on its brickwalk and not within its stores.On View
