DescriptionMembers of the Model Club are standing near a radial engine, high-wing aircraft. Meetings were held monthly at the Albuquerque Airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There are six young men holding handmade gliders and three adults are behind them. Handwriting on the front of the photograph reads, "Oxnard, Tingley, Dalbey - Model Club" Handwriting on a piece of paper attached to the photograph reads, "January 6, 1930 first model airplane contest of that year was held at Albuquerque Airport, Inc. Winners were Charles Davis, Hugh Dutter and Thelbert Exter. These contests were held monthly.”
