DescriptionThis rectangular luggage tag is made of cream-colored cardstock with red and black printed text. A reinforced circular hole on one end allows for attachment with a white string loop. The front side prominently displays the Western Airlines logo in red and black, consisting of a stylized "W" repeated three times. Bold black text reads BAGGAGE IDENTIFICATION ATTACH TO LUGGAGE. Instructions printed in English and Spanish advise travelers to secure their baggage and avoid packing passports or medications. The reverse side (not shown) provides blank spaces for travelers to write their contact information. Western Airlines was a major carrier in the United States, operating from 1925 until its merger with Delta Air Lines in 1987. Luggage tags like this were standard airline-issued items, ensuring proper baggage identification before modern barcode systems became widespread. The bilingual English-Spanish text reflects the airline’s service to Spanish-speaking destinations, including routes in the southwestern United States and Mexico. On View
