DescriptionThis image depicts a row of large, armored, unidentified military vehicles parked at the Sandia Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Each vehicle is square, dark in color, and has a gun turret on its roof. Some of the turrets are covered by large tarps. In the background, several large buildings, and one small building, can be seen. Each has a peaked roof and are all made of light-colored sheet metal. Three wooden telephone poles connected by power lines can be seen running horizontally in front of the buildings.The back of this photograph is stamped "UNCLASSIFIED. Photolab. Sandia Laboratory. Albuquerque, N.M. UNCLASSIFIED".
