DescriptionH.M. Hosick & Company, Wool & Hides located at Railroad Avenue between Fifth and Sixth Street in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Three wagons are loaded with sacked wool, two of which have riders seated high atop the sacks, holding rails. The wagons have wooden wheels, the buildings behind them are brick and additional men surround the wagons, one of which is on horseback. The riders wear large brimmed hats, single-breasted slacksuits and have mustaches. A sign above the closest brick building behind the wagons has a sign reading, "H.M. HOSICK & CO. WOOL & HIDES LANA Y SALEAS."

Railroad Avenue's name was changed around 1908 to what is now Central Avenue. Central Avenue also overlaps with the historic Route 66.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion.
