DescriptionPeople gather in small groups in front of the First Congregational Church at 501 Broadway Boulevard in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A horse-drawn carriage is parked on the dirt street in front of the church and people stand and sit around the carriage. The road is unpaved. Single-story wooden-sided houses are around the church. The roof of the brick church has been destroyed and has fallen into the lower level of the church. The spire is still standing, but the rose window and the larger stained glass windows along the street-level of the church have panels missing. The church was destroyed by fire on November 5, 1892.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss.
