DescriptionPeople gather in small groups in front of the First Congregational Church at the corner of Broadway Boulevard and Coal Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A horse-drawn carriage is parked on the dirt street in front of the church. The roof has fallen into the lower level of the church. The steeple still stands. The church was destroyed by fire on November 5, 1892.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing image distortion.
