DescriptionAn advertising poster for Borradaile and Mcclellan Insurance Company. The poster has the portrait and signatures of both co-owners, a photograph of donkeys in the Rio Grande Valley in Albuquerque, New Mexico with the caption, "Albuquerque in 1880," the Commercial Club Building with the caption, "Albuquerque today" and an illustration of a train on tracks with, "D & A. R. R.," written beneath. The flyer advertises for city, ranch, business, and residential property insurance coverage for improved and unimproved sales, for fire, life, and accident coverage with the slogan, "Best companies, Liberal policies, Insurance with US." Lastly, the flyer advertises, "Rents Collected, Taxes Paid, Loans. Notaries Public, Charges Taken of Non-Residents Properties."Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss. The glass plate is cracked down the center.
