A multi-level adobe building stands behind them with a bell tower. Samuel Goldwyn wears a single-breasted three-piece suit with a hat under his left arm, holding a newspaper in his hand. He is bolding. He stands at an angle primarily revealing his left side. Francis Howard stands behind him with her hair pinned back in finger curls. She wears a shin length coat with fur trimming at the bottom, around the sleeve cuffs, and on the lapel. She holds a wallet in her left hand and smiles.
