DescriptionCarl Laemmle, the film producer and the co-founder of Universal Pictures, stands inside a train car surrounded by a group of men who chat while he holds a newspaper at the Alvarado train station in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Travelers pass by the train car and look through the door at the talking men. Three young boys in newsboy flat caps and an elderly man in a homburg hat have their backs to the camera as they peer into the train car as they walk past. They hold newspapers. A woman walks in front of this group wearing a cloche hat and long coat with a fur lapel. She looks forward towards her destination and smiles. Carl Laemmle (right most of the group inside the train car) wears glasses, stands revealing his left profile to the camera, holds a hat under his left arm while holding a newspaper in his left hand. He smiles in a talking position.
