DescriptionThis campaign button was produced in 1960 for Barry Goldwater’s bid for the Republican vice presidential nomination during the primaries. Goldwater ultimately lost the nomination to Henry Cabot Lodge Jr., who then went on to lose the general election to John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. The button is all yellow, with blue text. The text reads "I'M FOR /BARRY /GOLDWATER / FOR / VICE-PRESIDENT."
