DescriptionTwo Curtiss P-40 military aircraft are parked outside of a hangar at Albquerque Airport. There is a truck parked just outside the hangar entrance.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawks were used by Allied powers in WWII. Fighter squadrons in the Pacific, North African, and Chinese theaters relied on P-40s because of their low cost and durability. Notably, many of the US military's P-40s were destroyed in the attack at Pearl Harbor.
