DescriptionThis lighter promotes the Fred Harvey Company's Alvarado Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The hotel was built in 1902 and was an iconic landmark of Albuquerques downtown, until its demolition in 1970. Within the lighters wide shape, a small, outlined image of the Alvarado Hotel is displayed on the front. The roof of the hotel is red, and there are small green trees poking out from behind the tower of the hotel. The words "HOTEL ALVARADO" are displayed on the front of the lighter, with "HOTEL" in black being placed right above the red "ALVARADO." At the bottom of the front face of the lighter, the words "ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO" are displayed running horizontally beneath the image of the hotel. The metal lighter has very few visible scratches throughout and contains the manufacturer name "HOWARD." On the back of the lighter, the word "Greetings" is displayed in red in Old English font, right above the name "Fred Harvey" in black, which is written in cursive. On View
