DescriptionThis electric push bell features a domed, blue enameled surface with a textured guilloché repeated pattern. A brass rim encircles the bell and at the top, a small white button would have activated the internal mechanism, producing a chime or buzz when pressed. A frayed fabric-covered electrical cord extends from the back, suggesting it was once wired into a larger system. Push bells like this were used in homes, offices, and hotels to signal attendants or visitors. On View
