DescriptionThe beams are squared with geometric carved decoration and have a natural wood color tone as any preexisting paint is now absent. As part of the mission system, the San Estivan Mission at Acoma Pueblo, used forced Pueblo peoples to labor in many ways including construction. These wooden beams were carved and painted for the roof of the convent (convento).On View
