DescriptionClyde Tingley served as Albuquerque City Alderman, commission chairman (now called Mayor), and New Mexico's governor for two terms. Governor Tingley used this license plate the last year he held office. It is yellow in color with black inscriptions on top. The black inscriptions include two Zia sun symbols with the number 39 in the middle that lay at the right and left of the plate. Between the Zias is the black number one and the word "Governor" above and the word "New Mexico" lays below.
