DescriptionThis office chair was produced in 1955 and is made of leather and wood, with some small metal embellishments. The seat and backrest are covered in brown cushioned leather, including the tops of the armrests. Smooth brown wood connects the armrests to the seat and backrest, fastened by small metal pins. The legs of the chair are also made of smooth brown wood. Two rails connect the front legs to the back, with two additional rails connecting the side supports to each other. The feet of the two front legs are encased in metal reinforcements. This chair stands as a symbol of classic American furniture design and reflects the era of mid-century American corporate culture.
