DescriptionThis pencil was made to promote the Skaggs Drug Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Skaggs Companies were started in 1915 by Samuel M. Skaggs. The company grew to operate many drug stores around the United States, including a store on the Historic Route 66 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The pencil is unsharpened and sports the classic yellow pencil paint job. At the bottom of the pencil, there is a gold eraser casing, which houses a pink rubber pencil eraser. There is a line of gold text engraved in the pencil, which reads "406 W. CENTRAL, CH-7-1549 SKAGGS DRUG CENTER."On View
