DescriptionPeople use the crosswalk to cross Fifth Street at Central Avenue Southwest in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. Traffic is stopped at a traffic light on Central Avenue. KiMo Theatre is at the left of the frame. Across the street are businesses: Elliott's Ninety Eight Store (424 Central Avenue Southwest), Rangel's Imports, S. H. Kress & Company Department Store (414 Central Avenue Southwest), and J C Penney Department Store (410 Central Avenue Southwest), Russell Stover Candies (408 Central Avenue Southwest), and Skaggs Drug Center (406 Central Avenue Southwest). Cars are parked diagonally in front of the businesses on the south side of the street and are parallel parked at the curb along the north side of the street.
