DescriptionThis hand-painted ceramic ashtray encompasses a circular form, depicts an illustration of the Ilfield Corporation building, located in Las Vegas, New Mexico, recognized as a notable mercantile firm during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The illustration showcases the building, standing against a vast blue sky and yellow sands. A small line of horses carrying what appears to be wagons in front of the building is visible in the foreground. "Ilfeld 'The...', Las Vegas, N.M." is written directly underneath the building in capital lettering, though the words preceding "The" are erased, likely due to aging and usage over time.
