DescriptionThis pen wiper is crafted from layered pieces of wool felt, cut into oval shapes with scalloped edges. The top layer is a mustard yellow, while additional layers beneath include shades of orange and beige, creating a colorful contrast. The layers are tied together with a light blue grosgrain ribbon, forming a neat bow on one side. Pen wipers were essential desk accessories in the 19th and early 20th centuries, used to clean excess ink from nib pens. This example combines practicality with decorative charm, showcasing the attention to detail in personal and office items of the time.On View
