DescriptionThis vintage board game, titled Route 66 Travel Game, was produced by Transogram and inspired by the CBS television series Route 66 (1960–1964). The box cover features an illustrated scene of a red Chevrolet Corvette convertible with two men, characters Tod Stiles and Buz Murdock, traveling along Route 66. The background includes a road map and telephone poles, emphasizing the game’s theme of cross-country adventure. The game’s title is prominently displayed within a large, yellow-and-red Route 66 highway shield. Floating portraits of actors Martin Milner and George Maharis appear in the top right corner, reinforcing the game’s connection to the TV show. Additional text notes, “For 2 to 4 players” and “For ages 8 to 14.”On View
