DescriptionThe Boy Scouts of America, Troop 6, stand in formation at 706 West Railroad Avenue near 7th Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The New Mexico Oldsmobile Co. and the Masonic building are on either sides of the street. The boys and their troop leader wear matching hats, Jodhpur pants, tall leather boys, and button-down shirts. Several of the boys hold flags and one holds a base drum with "Troop 6 B.S.A. Albuquerque N.M." painted on it. The road is dirt with trees and tall brush lining it.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and image loss. The glass plate is broken in two pieces creating lines through the image.
