DescriptionThis circular plate, constructed of china, encompasses a spring-green border along its top exterior perimeter, with some areas missing paint, likely due to aging over time. The center surface of the plate includes an illustrational depiction of five, vibrant magenta-pink roses with green leaves. Upon closer inspection of the design, it appears to include a stippling-like effect, as it encompasses many small dots throughout. Additionally, semi-transparent, pink, blue, purple, and green organic forms surround the illustration, reminiscent of watercolor techniques, perhaps included to create a further sense of depth and shadow. On View
