DescriptionThis image depicts some of the Matachines at San Lorenzo Fiesta in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The dancers are walking down the center of a street towards the left side of the frame in a single file line. Each dancer in this line is wearing a white shirt, black face mask, black pants, and black shoes. Each dancer also has on a headdress with long tassels attached to the back which hang nearly to the ground. Onlookers can be seen watching the parade on either side. Nearest the camera, a man and a woman watch the parade while sitting on the tailgate of a pickup truck.On View
