DescriptionA group of ten Zuni children wrapped in thick woven blankets or wearing dresses stand in a row in a snow-patched area with an adobe building in the background in New Mexico. Seven of the children have ceramic pots, woven baskets, or snow packs balanced on their heads. One, wrapped in a blanket with it over the head like a hood, holds a woven basket at the waist, resting one end on the ground. Many of the children also wear beaded necklaces. The adobe building has a peaked roof, three chimney stacks and a lean-to. A couple of adults stand beside the building looking towards the group. Two tall wooen poles stand side-by-side in the yard behind them with a horizontal wooden log across the tops, connecting them. What appears to be a rope swing is attached in the center. Everyone is looking toward the camera.
