DescriptionThe mantle and fireplace of the Fred Harvey Indian Room in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There are large logs in the fireplace and sculpted figures displayed on the wooden mantlepiece. Woven baskets are displayed above the mantle and on shelves near the ceiling are displayed ceramic pots. Netting is hanging from the ceiling. A wooden swinging bench is hanging from metal chains in front of the fireplace. A woven rug is below the bench and other rugs are displayed along the back wall. Handwriting on the back reads, "These are Indian curios in the Depot and also the other card. Norman and I sat in this swing & looked at the things on the mantel. We saw all the things on these cards & lots more. How I wish you were here its just grand. I saw these blanket weavers themselves."On View
