DescriptionCadets stand in front of Goss Military Institute near Seventh Street and Railroad Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The cadets wear uniforms with dark piping and hold wooden pins near their heads. Men and women sit on the front porch of the two-story institute. The building is covered in wooden siding and has decorative gables on the front. Two entrances lead into the building. The porch stretches across the front of the building and a picket fence surrounds the site.

Railroad Avenue's name was changed around 1908 to what is now Central Avenue. Central Avenue also overlaps with the historic Route 66.
