DescriptionDilley's Cafe at 2317 North Fourth Street in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The single-story restaurant has a wooden screen door and two plate-glass windows with striped awnings. Only one of the awnings is extended for shade over the window on the right of the frame. A sign is attached to the front of the building, over the left window that advertises Coca-Cola. DILLEY'S CAFE is painted on the stucco facade of the building. The building has a flat roof. A screen door near the left of the frame has a hole on the wall above it with electrical cords sticking out of it. Handwriting on the back of the photograph reads, "December 25, 1941 Let W.T. and Helen Lee read this. Dear Jesse and Ruth, just a line to let you know we got home all ok and just as expected they sent dady another form to fill out before thay would send his check. Merry xmas to all. Love Mother and dady".On View
