DescriptionTwo men look toward the camera across a large mud puddle just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. A car is submerged to its rear bumper in mud. The car has a cloth roof and boxes or suitcases can be seen in the back seat of the automobile. One man is standing with a leg propped on the front fender and a second man is standing on the running board peeking out from under the roof, toward the camera. Script printed on the bottom of the photograph reads, "Experiences of a Trans Continental". Both men are wearing long-sleeved coats. Tall grasses and brush are around the mud pit and the car. Handwriting on the back reads, "This is just out of Albuquerque. Most all in".
