DescriptionFirst Annual Fire School in Deming, New Mexico on June 3-5, 1930. Two men holding a fire hose spraying a fire in a fire pit. Behind the men with hoses and smoky pit are 44 men and 4 boys watching. In the foreground is a dirt lot and in the background are large wooden walls with wooden supports. On the right behind the men, is a brick building with windows. In the center behind the men are three other buildings. Below the photo in the front right corner is the photographer's name written in ink, T. A. Rosenwald.
