DescriptionFirst Fireman's Convention in Socorro, New Mexico on July 27-28, 1928. Twelve men observing a pump test on a fire truck. Another man is squatted down watching. The first truck is labeled "Socorro Hose Co." and has a bell attached to the truck. Another vehicle is parked next to the truck and appears to be a car. Two other men are spraying water from large hoses in the background. At the bottom of the photo is the photographer's name, T. A. Rosenwald. The back of the photo is labeled "Pump test - Socorro Fire Dept. apparatus - Socorro, N.M.-7/28/28.
