Description11. Historic La Placita! A restaurant specializing in Spanish dishes! Shops are all around, to intrigue the tourist. 12. Facing the Plaza you saw first in Old Albuquerque pictures is the famous San Felipe de Neri Church. Used as a fortress against the Indian in early times, the walls of the church are more than 7 feet thick.
13. Entrance to the church! the San Felipe Fiesta in Old Town every spring - late May or early June - brings back the days of religious processions, dances in the plaza, & pinata parties.
14. The gorgeous Altar of San Felipe de Neri Church!
