DescriptionThis image depicts a meeting of the USO (United Service Organizations) Club in a building in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Seven men and one woman, all dressed in military-like uniforms, sit on couches and chairs taking to one another in the center of what appears to be a recreation room somewhere. In the middle of these chairs and couches is a small coffee table with a large glass cookie jar on it. Behind this center group, another group of four men and two women sit taking to one another in another group dressed similar to the first group. On the right side of the frame, a doorway leads into this room. Standing in this doorway, three men, two dressed in military-like uniforms and one dressed in a suit and tie, stand looking and discussing a piece of paper. The room itself is neatly decorated and has two large windows, both with flannel curtains, on either side of an exit leading outside. Sunlight can be seen coming through the previously mentioned windows. A bookshelf can also be seen to the right of the doorway.

"This is past the main lounge. Mr. Ross, the director, is standing in the doorway to writing-room with two boys. He sure is a nice fellow. Not the big cookie-jar in front center".
