DescriptionThis image depicts the inside of a room in the University of New Mexico Library in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the foreground of the image is the reference desk. The desk is circular and separated in the middle by a wooden patrician. This patrician separates the desk into to separate workstations where in people sitting at the desk would be working back-to-back. Directly above the desk, a chandelier made of what looks to be mostly glass can be seen. Beyond the reference desk is the library's periodical room. Two rows of tables with lamps attached to them can be seen on the right and left sides of the room. Individuals can be seen working at several of the tables that are on the left and right sides of the room. Behind these tables, a large window located on the back wall illuminated the room in front of it.
