DescriptionThe United States Veteran Hospital Administration Building in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as seen from the fifth floor of the main structure. In the forground of the photograph, the roofs of the lower floors are visable stretching into the middleground. Beyond this, numerous other buildings with open walkways connecting them can be seen. The area that the U.S. Veteran Hospital encompasses is slightly circular and is completely connected via cement walkways or covered walkways. Grass, small trees, and other shrubery also covers the grounds of the hospital. Beyond the hospital is flatland that stretches into the background of the image. "Thanks for your newsy card - I miss all you fellers a heap and sure wish I was back home - not very encouraging just now - Left kidney not functioning at all may have to be removed - Fraternally RULE.
