DescriptionThe Klaf is the parchment on which a biblical verse is written. The parchment is cream colored, and has been rolled into a vertical cylinder, with black Hebrew lettering running across the bottom edge. In this case, the prayer is the Shama. On the back are Hebrew letters for "Shaddai" which means "Almighty".
