DescriptionThe Sangre de Cristo Mountains, including Taos Mountain (also called Pueblo Peak, Mó-ha-loh, or Má-ha-lu) in New Mexico. A river runs through the foreground and a house surrounded by a coyote fence and bare-limbed trees and shrubs is in the center of the frame. A wagon is parked outside the fence to the right. The mountains are forested with some snow on the peak of Taos Mountain.
