DescriptionA miniature painting with seven men on a sailboat with the bow carved as a giraffe. The central figure is surrounded by a burning halo indicating he is a prophet. The background is black and gold and the surrounding water appears dark, turbid and fierce. A white sail is raised with red marks; a green flag waves above. Text is written above and below the central image in either Arabic or Persian. Similar paintings describe this event as the prophecy of Nuh (Noah) in the Ark.
