DescriptionA miniature painting with seven men on a sailboat, its bow carved to resemble a giraffe's head. The central figure has a burning halo around his head, while the others are plainly depicted. The background is black and gold and the surrounding water appears dark and turbulent. A white sail with red marks is raised, as a green flag waves above. Text is written above and below the central image in either Arabic or Persian. Similar paintings describe this event as the prophecy of Nuh (Noah) and the Ark.On View
