DescriptionTwo hand-tinted photographs of lions, combined on a single page to create a diptych. Each photograph depicts a herd of lions in tall grass and is layered with icons of a lion, representing the South African brand of safety matches known as Lion (in Afrikaans, "Lion-vuurhoutjies"). A small oval photograph in the bottom-right corner illustrates white videographers, or photographers, documenting African tribespeople in the landscape.
