A small head emerges from the front, with eyes and a mouth that have been painted on. A short, stubby tail emerges from the opposite side of the object and is coated with the same black slip. A wide, checkerboard pattern covers the top of the animal's shell. The entire object is hollow, comprised of a thin, upper edge.
