DescriptionScott Bell explains his science fair physics division project to Sue Rodgers at Sandia High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bell holds a metal shock tube and explains the tests he ran on the tube as described in the poster he is sitting beside. Rodgers looks at Bell as he is talking. A reel-to-reel machine is on display in front of the science fair poster. A handwritten note on the back of the photograph reads, "Scott Bell - Project: involving design tests on a rocket shock tube, won 1st place in physics division".
