DescriptionThe Swift is a spindle used for winding cotton or wool fibers, it consists of two round plates held together with six sticks in the middle supported on a notched base. The spindles are made of brown finished wood with yellow cup-shaped disks at the top. The base for the spindles is a wooden board painted yellow which rests on the edge of a red brick. There is an extra skein of yarn in addition to the one already wrapped on the Swift.On View
