DescriptionThe Las Posadas procession at night along the south side of the plaza in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico. A man in a sombrero walks alongside a burro being ridden by a girl playing the role of Mary in the procession. They lead the group and behind them, two young boys in sombreros carry a decorated wooden platform. Musicians and more participants follow the boys. Cars are parked along the sidewalk, where spectators are watching the scene and walking along in the storefronts of Perfumes of the Desert and the Covered Wagon store.
