DescriptionThe courtyard at the Alvarado Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A tiered fountain is in the center of the courtyard with paved sidewalks and a grassy lawn around it. Flowers are growing up the sides of the stucco hotel. The hotel has red tile roofing. The view to the courtyard is through the large arches along a covered walkway. Handwriting on the back reads, "Dear Alga: After a very restful stay at this delightful hotel we are journing on tonight for El Paso. Much to our regret - should love to of stayed longer at the old hometown. Thought of this moon and of the pleasant day one week ago. Amos Barns".
