DescriptionThis clay vase encompasses a cylindrical form throughout, and includes a slightly wider upper portion. The top opening of the vessel is rounded, and is followed by a series of grey, black, and dark blue painted rings. A deep terracotta color serves as the base color of the vessel, as its surface is littered with patterned illustrations of grey, black, and dark blue flowers and leaves, appearing to be hand-painted. The bottom portion of the vessel includes black and grey painted rings contouring the rounded surface, similar to the painted rings pictured below the top opening. The underside of the vessel reveals a circular base and includes a light-colored label reading "Maisel's / The Indian Trader / 117th S. 1st St. / Albuquerque, N. M."
