Ada Suina

Born in 1930 at Cochiti Pueblo, New Mexico, Ada Suina was inspired to become a potter by her grandmother, Estefanita Herrera, and learned to make pottery from her cousin, Virginia Naranjo. Her sister, Stephanie C. Rhoades (Snowflake Flower) also became a potter. Suina is known for her storytellers and nacimientos.
