Paul Pletka

Paul Pletka was born in San Diego, California in 1946 but spent his formative years growing up in the Southwest. After high school, attended Arizona State University, Mesa College, and Colorado State University. Pletka's focus in college was printmaking and he has never taken a printing course. Pletka's work, which reflects his meticulous research, attention to detail, and excellent draughtsmanship, is featured in collections including the Texas Museum of Art, the United States Department of the Interior in Washington D.C., and the Albuquerque Art Museum.
