City of Albuquerque Tricentennial Celebration

In light of celebrating Albuquere's three-hundred years of establishment, the Tricentennial celebration took place, which lasted eighteen months, from April 23rd, 2005 to October 6th, 2006. Featuring festivities and events hosted by local organizations like the Albuquerque Aquarium, the Rio Grande Zoo and Botanical Garden, the South Broadway Cultural Center, and even the Albuquerque Museum. The celebration proved to be significantly impactful in the realms of commemorating Albuquerque's history and culture, community, attracting visitors to the city, and encouraging community engagement.
